Along with our parents, we’re thrilled to be able to welcome our nearest and dearest to join us in our favourite city as we celebrate this new stage of our life together.
We will share more details as the event approaches, but in the meantime here is some more information for you to plan your travels.
While we adore your little ones, the event will be adults only, with the exception of closest family and babes in arms.
The Weekend
Friday, 6 November

Please join us for drinks and canapes between 7-10pm.
The venue is on the Royal Mile, just below the entrance to Edinburgh Castle.
Saturday, 7 November
Ceremony & Reception
The Royal College of Physicians
11 Queen St, Edinburgh EH2 1JQ
Please arrive at 1:00 for the ceremony at 1:30. A drinks reception will follow at the same venue, from 2:15, following by the wedding breakfast, ceilidh and dancefloor.
Carriages at 12:30am
Dress: Formal
Sunday, 8 November
For those with a spring in their step, we’ll walk up Arthur’s Seat to greet the day with the best view of the city.
Meet at the Holyrood Car Park at midday for the walk.
It is a moderate climb of 1.5-2 hours round trip, but you can stop at any point along the way.

We’ve put together a selection of recommended hotels near to the venue. We will be staying at the Kimpton Charlotte Square, but there are a number of other great options nearby.
